Our trainees and volunteers spend every thursday growing some amazing food which is delivered straight to the foodbank by bike. Less than half a food mile! Local food at it's best, getting a veg bag to 20-25 families a week.

Grown in Peckham got back into action today with a spring clean of the container, weed of the beds and planting out of chard. Some new, and some old faces showed up and got gardening and it felt that all was as it should be at the garden.
It was a busy day for Grown in Peckham on Thursday as we prepared our first delivery of the season for local restaurants/cafes Ganapati and Cafe Viva. We harvested rainbow chard, oriental salad leaves, radishes, pea shoots, baby peas, wild rocket and edible flowers.
