Good News!

Our open drop-in gardening sessions are back! Anyone can come along and take part, no experience necessary – just plenty of enthusiasm.

Sunday Volunteer Gardening Session

The session runs from 12.00 – 15.45, it’s best to arrive at 12.00pm or after the break at 1.45pm.

Please note from 7th November this session will run at 11.00 – 14.45.

Learn more about organic growing and get busy pruning, harvesting and more; all you need is plenty of enthusiasm.
No booking required, but we will be monitoring numbers closely to ensure it is safe for everyone.

Little Gardeners – Monday Under 5’s Session

The session runs from 9am -12pm for under 5s and their parent or carer.

The sessions are parent-led and free flowing – there’s sometimes a gardening or craft activity or a story – but mostly it’s time and space for children & adults to experience the garden, play and interact. Please bear in mind you need to be with your child at all times – as there are hazards like open ponds on site.

Tuesday Volunteer Gardening Session

The session runs from 10.30am – 2.15pm. It’s best to arrive at 10.30am or after the break at 12.15pm.

Learn more about organic growing and get busy pruning, harvesting and more; all you need is plenty of enthusiasm.

All Hands on Deck – Wednesday Session

The session runs from 2.30pm – 6.30pm every Wednesday

We would love your help with some heavy lifting, as we get seriously stuck into the garden. Site repairs, raised bed maintenance, carpentry and garden installations; for those that like to work up a sweat and get their hands dirty, join us at our new Wednesday session!

No booking required – just drop-in.

If you’re staying for the whole session, we’d recommend bringing something to eat. Light refreshments will also be supplied.

Please note that under 18’s can only attend volunteer gardening and All Hands on Deck sessions if accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian. Please talk to the gardener or session leader about tasks that are suitable for different age groups.

If you have your own gloves, you may like to bring them with you.
