Glengall Wharf Garden is a community space at the east side of Burgess Park, in north Peckham. A peaceful oasis for the local community, everyone is welcome to enjoy the garden and participate in volunteer gardening sessions and a variety of workshops.
In the garden you’ll find a forest garden and food growing beds, beehives, chickens, ponds and a campfire – with plans to add plenty more! Sharing skills and empowering others is at the heart of what the garden offers, while contributing to sustainable, green development within London. Click here to learn more about us.
VOLUNTEER SESSIONS ARE ON WEEKLY!
We’re always pleased to welcome new volunteers to the garden and we are currently running 2025 gardening sessions every Wednesday 10am – 2pm and every Friday 12pm – 4pm, Saturday 11am – 3pm and Sunday 12pm – 3pm. You do not need to reserve a space in advance for any of our sessions, or have any experience just drop-in and join in the fun!
We also have regular events, workshops and activities – you can find the latest news here.
