AGM Meeting

As an important part of the Glengall Wharf Garden community, we’re pleased to invite you all to our upcoming AGM, on Wednesday 5th May, 6.00pm.

Over the past year it’s been heart-warming to see so many of you get involved, join volunteer groups and support our efforts to make the garden thrive. As a result, we have lots of exciting news and developments to share with you!

What to expect…
We will be voting six individuals into committee roles, including Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. Three supporting roles will also be appointed, all of whom should be involved with the garden – either as a committee member or activity group coordinator.

Interested? We would love to hear from you!

Please email confirming the role(s) you’re interested in and your relevant skills and experience. As a member of the committee, please be aware that you would be expected to attend monthly steering committee meetings, alongside other responsibilities.

Glengall Wharf Garden will be sharing the following:

– Our working groups will present their projects, plans and priorities for 2021, highlighting any areas where we need further support and additional volunteers.

 – We will consider the nominations and vote in Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and three supporting roles, as well as approving the appointment of all those in working groups.

 – End of year finances.

 – It’s essential that the garden continues to serve the community’s interests and to finish, we’ll update you on the plans to revisit the vision, mission, aims and culture of GWG, giving everyone a chance to have their thoughts and ideas heard.

If there are other topics you would like to be considered for discussion, please click here to get in touch.
The meeting will be no more than 1.5hrs, which will largely be presentations, followed by a Q&A to finish. Afterwards, attendees will receive a survey and we would appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and thoughts.

We do hope you can join us in planning our next steps for the garden.
